Some of the wineries we visit include:

Boat O'Craigo Winery

Named after the winery’s ancestors who hailed from the town of Craigo in Scotland, this winery actually has two vineyards – one in Healesville and one in Kangaroo Ground - enabling them to produce wines that are handcrafted from grape varietals specifically chosen from each site. From the alluvial river soils of the Black Spur Range come early ripening varieties of Gewürztraminer, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay, alongside their only red varietal Pinot Noir. While from the rich, black volcanic soils of Kangarroo Ground come their renowned Black Cameron Shiraz, Braveheart Cabernet Sauvignon and Kincardine Grenache. But you can enjoy all their noble varieties of wine at each location.

St Huberts Winery

One of the oldest wineries located at the gateway to the Yarra Valley, originally established in 1862 by winemaker pioneer Charles Hubert de Castella, who helped establish the region as a premium wine producing area. St Huberts is renowned for Cabernet Sauvignon with its intense fruit flavours, depth and concentration; other varieties on offer include Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Roussanne.

Coldstream Hills Winery

Coldstream Hills was founded by distinguished Australian wine writer James Halliday in 1985. It has grown to become one of Australia's leading small wineries. As the name suggests, this winery enjoys a cool climate enabling it to produce Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties of elegant wines renowned for their fine and long finish. Coldstream Hills Winery also produces fine Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and sparkling wines, across three tiers and offerings. Coldstream Hills Wines have established themselves as one of the leading small winemakers of Australia having received recognition at some of the country's top wine shows.

Yering Station

Yering Station is proud to be Victoria's first winery, with a tradition dating back to 1838 when their vines were first planted in the Yarra Valley. This truly world-class winery is renowned for its historic cellar door, stunning signature restaurant and breathtaking grounds that make for a truly unforgettable Yarra Valley wine experience. Lying at the heart of Australia's most renowned cold climate wine growing region, Yering Station is celebrated for producing exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Yering's winemakers strive to manage a careful balance of tradition and innovation, employing age-old viticulture techniques supported by modern advances to ensure they bring the very best of the vineyard to every bottle.
