You will be amazed to see hundreds if not thousands of Little Penguins waddle across the beach. You will get to stroll among them on elevated boardwalks - you will not believe how close you will get to them, you could almost touch them.
Our half-day tour to the world-famous Philip Island Penguin Parade includes a relaxed drive through gorgeous scenery on our way to the Penguin colony. Enjoy a brief stop to The Nobbies and Seal Rocks for breathtaking photo opportunities. If time and weather permit, we will stroll down the boardwalk, keeping an eye out for penguins hiding under your feet or peeking out from their nesting boxes. Then enjoy a spectacular drive along the cliffs where you may spot soaring birds of prey, wandering Cape Barren geese or grazing wallabies.
Finally, we arrive at the world-renowned Penguin Parade. We will wander down to the beach to watch these delightful little creatures waddle out of the waves and across the sand or clamber over rocks. Marvel as they stop to preen themselves or gawk at these odd humans who come to see them every night. It truly is a magical, memorable experience that will stay with you, your whole life.
